Sameer C. Thahir ISC was born on 7 November 1976. He is an Indian cinematographer, screenwriter, and film director, who is working mainly in the Malayalam cinema industry while he also has worked in a few Tamil films. Thahir made his debut movie with Big B, the first film directed by cinematographer Amal Neerad, in 2007. Later, he made his directorial and writing debut with the movie Chaappa Kurishu in 2011.
