An actress from England, Rakhee Thakrar was born on February 29, 1984. She is well-known for playing Shabnam Masood in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders and Emily Sands in the Sex Education comedy-drama on Netflix. Additionally, in Big Finish’s audio drama Doctor Who: The Time War, she provides the Bliss character, the companion of the Eighth Doctor. Indian-born Thakrar was born and raised in Leicester, England. Soar Valley College was where she studied. Thakrar joined Hathi Productions, a Leicester-based theatre group, when he was a teen.
In the BBC Asian Network radio play Silver Street, which was broadcast in 2004, Thakrar was cast as Roopa Chauhan. From the opening 2004 episode to the final 2010 episode, Thakrar portrayed the part.
